“Ignorance and incomplete knowledge are the worst hidden dagger and poison to the health of public awareness. And in the last century, even if it has increased in understanding or at the very least knowing that the environment does exist and it can go extinct in relation to pollution, environmental degradation, etc. . weather data many of these aspects have been construed through incorrect information. Unfortunately, teaching people and making the public aware of such things is still in such an infantile stage.
As standards of living rise, so has technology and social development. But with good is always. Situations arising out the consequence of quickness and shortcuts have simultaneously led to serious environmental disasters. These cause backlash and as effect anti-development.
Education and information is the only thing keep us from teetering off the scale as the balance between our needs and supplies versus the ecological balances avoid disruption.
Simply put, the general ignorance in terms of the environment and its current status has several main reasons:
1)The educational system including the sciences have not done their job. The curriculum is outdated and lacks the essential components that make-up today’s society and not yesteryear’s if that.
2)Those who lead our society, politicians, strategists, and administrators of the like do not consider the environment as something they should involve themselves with. It doesn’t fit into their plans and this is a problem.
3)Then, there are those who would rather ignore environmental causes not in ignorance but in selfishness and lack of interest. Projects that greatly depend on the environment do not take the environment itself into any consideration.
4)Social agenda and selfish measures mix into a bad soup. Social agenda is necessary and highly important, but selfish measures corrupt what is the real goal. As these two ideals battle, basic environmental issues don’t have room to squeeze in.”
